CONTEXT

Candid partners with licensed dental professionals to bring high-quality clear aligners to their patients. The company provides an end-to-end tech-enabled clinical service experience, from diagnostic material collection through remote patient monitoring.

OBJECTIVES

Develop a clinical platform that:

• centralizes workflows the across cross-functional teammates: orthodontists, lab, support

• reduces the time from clinical material collection to aligners received

• allows the platform to scale, in number of patients, case complexity, and across different product types (aligners, retainers, etc.)

OUTCOME

• Automated over 2,000 hours/month of administrative tasks

• Developed a user-friendly and streamlined electronic health record

• Refactored the data infrastructure to caudify the concepts of a patient and a clinical engagement

• Created new user-flows to accomodate different patient journeys and product types
